While you are on thisJourney ....Learn Something!

When I started out on this journey of Health, Wellness and Wealth I truly thought that's what this thing was all about.  Little did I know that God had me on a spiritual journey as well.  I started out with a need for something and God has given me far more than I needed or wanted.  I  have been learning so much not only from a spiritual standpoint which is needed as a foundation for anything we do.  But I have also learned so much from a health , and wellness standpoint and it is an amazing journey of personal growth.  Knowledge is power and I thank God for empowering me and if He can do it for me, He can do it for you as well.  You just have to be open to learning and wanting to become a better person and walk in your purpose!  Life has many long drawn out lessons that may take a long time to learn or require great attention, but there are also small nuggets that are equally as important and are easy to grasp if you take the time to learn them.  I am learning so much on this journey and I encourage you to take the time to learn something while you are on yours!

While you are on this Journey…You have got to let Some People Go!

Just like before when I said some people don’t understand your journey and where God is taking you. In this instance there are people in your life or in your vicinity that do understand and do get where God is taking you but they are jealous and and don’t want to see you prosper or get through and succeed in anything.  Let those people in your life go! I know it can be hard because sometimes you find that those very people are family, and close friends and  not just recent or casual aquantainces.  Don’t hold on to dead weight, don’t crowd your space with people who mean you no good. And it’s not hard to find those folks.  They are the ones who encourage you not go after your dreams, the ones who ask why you always praying, the ones who ask why you always volunteering at the church I know they not paying you.   Don't be fooled they know why you are praying, because you want a breakthrough!  They just don't want you to get the breakthrough. They are too busy wanting to keep you down they ain't got the sense to pray for themselves.  Let ‘em go!  Even if they are long time friends, cut buddies, sisters, brothers, cousins, bff's whatever, if you can’t find the positive things they have added to your life or you can’t find the benefit in them being in your life, do yourself a favor and let them ---Rascals go!   I didn't say don't love them, but you've got to let them Go!  You have a work to do and assignment to finish, and examination to pass a journey to complete and you don’t need any more hindrances than you already have!  The bible says if you go into a place and the people don't receive turn your backs and brush the dust off your feet!  Basically let them Go!  If you want to prosper and become all that you are destined to become, you cannot allow people to hold you back or down!  The journey must go on!

While on this Tedious journey …Take the time to dust off Yourself and Get Refreshed!

When you are traveling along there are a lot of things that people will say and you will hear, there are things you will experience and even things that you will have dumped on you not by your own choosing.  Negative things!  In order to continue on your journey and be productive thereon you have got to dust that stuff off, off, off.  It's got to go you cant be progressive and follow through with the  map God has laid out for you if you are weighted down with unnecessary dirt  it will cause you to lose sight and focus of the master plan.Burdens have an uncanny way of doing that for you and it might not even be your burden.  God is no respecter of man in that He is not going to single anyone out for this or that.  If you didn't already know it neither is burden and or dirt, filth, trash garbage  what ever you choose to call it, bottom line is you need to get it off!  Brush it off take a shower hose down, pull out the lever 2000 or the dial, jump in the ocean and wash it off and refresh yourself and report for duty!  Negativity will weigh you down and render you useless.  There is a lot of mess in the world and while you are walking you are going to kick up a lot of dust its inevitable just don’t let it settle on you!  Get in the word of God and begin to brush off the mess and refresh yourselves daily.

I'm Just Saying....While I'm on my Jouney

God has me on a journey and on this journey I am experiencing so many different things and learning so many wonderful lessons, and the experience is amazing to say the least.  These message are inspired from God as He gives it to me, I give it to you in hopes that it will bless someone in someway, hopefully in a way that has blessed me.  To the best of my ability I am being not only a hearer of the word but a doer as well, and I encourage you to allow God to place you on a journey by having a heart for Him and being obedient to His will and let His Holy Spirit guide you through your travels.  I assure you it will be the most wonderful time in your life.  There will be days of up and days of down but through it all God is standing right there.

So happy travels...as the journey continues.

Don't Be Blind!...Survey the Land While Traveling Your Jouney...

I think one of the biggest reasons people fail at certain things in life, whether it be business, relationships, even school.  It is because we walk blindly!  What can you see in front of you if your eyes are closed?  If you said the back of your eyelids then give yourself a pat on the back. :-)  What are you going to see a far off if your eyes are shut?  Absolutely nothing!  We need to stop walking around with our eyes wide shut.  I speaking not only of a physical state but more so  from a spiritual standpoint.  When you are on a journey you MUST survey the land.  How then else would you know where to go, what streets to cross, what ditches to stay away from, what people to stay away from?  Where the danger signs are?  How many safe zones are there?  How would we know when we need to switch gears if we don't look around us and observe?  People, how will we know what our territory is and how large it's going to be if we have never truly opened our eyes and looked at it!  In Business you have got to look a the whole picture; survey the plan!  Find out where your best market is, what are the downsides, what are the upsides, who is going to be on my team, who is your competition.  Survey the land, I tell you!  In relationships, Survey the land!  Check out the person of interest, are they worthy of being with you, how do they react to these types of situations, how will they react to those types of situations?  What is their background, check out their families, friends, teachers old classmates, bosses!  Survey the Land!  Do we have the same things in common, are we equally yolked?  I'm trying to tell somebody it will save a lot of heartache, time, trouble and frustration if you take the time to do what?  You got it, say it with me Survey the Land!  Even when you are in school you have to survey the land.  Know what type of people and environment is there, know who you want to associate with from who you shouldn't.  Check out the teachers, staff, administrator seek out the ones who show a genuine interest in seeing you succeed!   Check out the courses you are taking and the others that the school offer's so you can be aware.  What type of social and extracurricular clubs and activities do they have that could benefit you.  Survey the land! In life you have to open your eyes and survey the Land!  In Joshua God gave the instructions and Joshua obeyed, and although the full manifestation of the order was not realized until times later but God had specific reasons for saying it.  And if He says it I'm doing it!  ...

As the men started on their way to map out the land, Joshua instructed them, "Go and make a survey of the land and write a description of it. Then return to me, and I will cast lots for you here at Shiloh in the presence of the LORD."  Joshua 18:8

Don't be Self Consumed on your Journey ...Reach out and Help Someone along the Way!

While you may feel like yes!, this is my time to move and to shake and make things happen in my life while you are on your journey, it is extremely important to not become self-consumed!  Don't get to a point where you are so focused on you that you forget everyone else around you and you neglect an opportunity to HELP someone!  While you are on your journey take the time to reach out and pull somebody along impart some wisdom that you've gained from your travels thus far, give friendly instruction and if need be hold their hand until it;s safe to let go and watch them grow as well, which at times may not be until you've reached the end of the trek, so be prepared.  Helping someone will provide a sense of servitude and humility which is what we should all strive for no matter where we are in life!  Along life's journey God gives us tests and how we handle or respond to those test can directly and indirectly affect both our progression and how we come out at the end of the trip.  Since God has been gracious enough to Bless us it is imperative to turn around and Bless others!  It's o.k to be focused on the mark but have tunnel vision with a touch of peripheral vision so we don't miss those precious opportunities to impact someones life and make a difference.

Remember while Jesus was on His journey to Samaria, He stopped for a drink of water and while He was stopped He ministered to the Samaritan woman, and although she may not have continued along with His journey physically what He imparted  allowed her to travel spiritually!

When you are on your journey...expect to go Alone!

Yes, I said it, you've got to go it alone!  Sometimes while you are on your journey you will realize that you are alone, no one wants to go with you or you you feel like you have no support in your endeavors.  The reason is it's YOUR journey.  Not everyone will understand where you are going or where God is taking you! don't start kicking friends and family to the side, it's not that they don't love you, it's just that they don't understand...some will and some won't. And you've got to realize that it's okay, even when you feel like you are the only one out in the middle of the ocean with just a canoe and surrounded by water and no land in sight or even a friendly hand to say it's gonna be ok.  Besides you don't want any and everyone on your journey to plant seeds of doubt simply because they are not on your level and don't understand your assignment.  The only person you need with you anyway is the one who sent you on your journey...God!  He is always there so don't loose sight or focus even when you feel alone in this thing!  ...Let me pass through your land: I will go along by the highway, I will neither turn to the right hand or to the left.  Deut 2:27

When you are on a journey you have to...MOVE!

...Yes you have to move!  You can't be on a journey and be stagnant and not do anything.  It just doesn't work like that!  You have to move and keep on moving, so I did just that I knew that I needed something for myself and my family that would jump start our path back to being healthy, and I needed for myself something that would jump start my total wellbeing, health wise, spiritually, mentally, financially etc. So my job was to do the research, my job was to educate myself about things and seek out guidance from the Lord and also people who were in the know.  As far as being able to invest in products I thought would help me along my journey, I knew I didn't have the money at the time to buy anything.  But that didn't say I couldn't do my research and prepare myself for when I did.  That didn't say I couldn't talk to people and make connects and align myself for the right time.  What good would having the financial means to do something I really wanted to do if I didn't know what to do with it?  ...Never thought about it that way hunh?  I researched products that I recently heard about and products I knew about from a while back.  And I sought out what I felt would be a good fit for me and my families lifestyle, and I honed in on my target until I was ready to make my next move.  When you are on a journey you have to move.  Journey means:  The act of traveling from one place to another; a trip.  A process or course likened to traveling; a passage
You simply can't get from point A to point B without some form of progressive movement.  You have to get up and...MOVE. One step at a time until you reach your goal!   "When you sound the signal to move on, the tribes camped on the east side of the Tabernacle must break camp and move forward.  Num 10:5 --Let's all move together!

A journey can feel like forever...apply plenty of patience!!!

...After I had seen the presentation I wanted the garment so bad especially because of the quality of it and the back support, and the slimming effects of it and just knowing how good I would feel in it!  The nutritional supplements were there too, and I figured they could be of some benefit too!  but,at the time my focus was a quick fix with out the work. Even though I knew I needed to work from the inside out to better myself.  I would have been satisfied with working the exact opposite :-) outside and then maybe in.  But again I didn't have any funds to make my dream a reality instantaneously.  I had to apply plenty of patience.  I went on you-tube and looked at videos of the garment and all the testimonials from people who had used it, I went to the product website and checked it out there.  Oooh I just couldn't wait but I had too, and I just knew that one day I would be able to afford my very own "Body Magic" It wasn't like it was and extremely expensive garment either, it's just one of those things where you just don't have any extra to spare!  Little did I know that it was God telling me to hold on and wait a minute because He had a bigger picture in store for me. We need to understand that a *Delay is not a Denial!  Patience is truly a virtue and oh the benefits of waiting on God!  What God has for you really is for you, no matter how long it takes for Him to give it to you or for you to receive it.  Everything that you learn along the way prepares you for the next level of your journey.....What have you learned thus far?

....The Journey Continues

Last year some where around November I was invited to a home party where I was introduced with an opportunity to preview this undergarment garment that could trim me down 3 dress sizes....WOW! right.  I had always seen the advertisement around town and never really looked into it, although I knew if at the least I could benefit from it in some way.  I loved it, the presentation and  wellness products were very intriguing.  I was even presented with an opportunity to benefit from the presentation from a business aspect.  But my focus was getting this garment.  I didn't have a dollar not the first dime, but I got measured for it, and wrote my size down, the price and all of the contact information for the lady who was doing the show so I could get into contact with her when I had the money ready to order.  ...Let me tell you God will place you on a journey until He's ready for you to reach your final destination or His point of interest for you!  Think about the children of Israel who were promised the Land of Canaan, now look at how long it took them to walk in the land and possess it fully as their own.  God had them on a journey!  When God is ready for you to be on a Journey, have your passport in hand and get ready to travel!  Leave all your baggage behind and take only what you need with you.  The Word of God, Your Faith, and Your Will to do His will!  God will take care of the rest... see ya as my journey unfolds, follow me as I follow Christ!

...And the Journey begins!

A few weeks ago I felt like God had opened another door, another pathway for my blessings to come.  It was almost like someone had given me a passport to travel my destiny. So I decided to go for it! I have always wanted to get healthy and do better, but getting started and keeping it going are not my strong points when it comes to losing weight and doing the healthy thing.  I knew I had a problem and my family was developing a problem because of me and my bad eating habits.  Reality kicked in when I took a look at pictures of myself and my family on our summer vacation.  I was beautiful but much to big for my frame and my kids were following suit.  I had to do something so I did what any level minded God fearing Christian woman would do I PRAYED about it!  ---Check back to see my journey unfold and maybe even start one of your own!
